Pendampingan Metode Qiroati Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Pada Anak-Anak di TPA Jannatul Firdaus Siman Ponorogo

Abstract
This community service program aimed to improve children's ability to read the Qur'an through the implementation of the Qiroati method at TPA Jannatul Firdaus, located in Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The partner institution faced several challenges, including low Qur’anic literacy among students, the use of unsystematic learning methods, and a lack of formal training for teachers. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through four stages: needs assessment, Qiroati method training, field mentoring, and evaluation-reflection. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students' Qur’anic reading ability based on pre-test and post-test comparisons. Additionally, teachers showed enhanced competence in applying the Qiroati method in a structured and effective manner. The program also produced a teaching module and an evaluation system that can be sustainably utilized by the TPA. Through a collaborative approach and the application of an appropriate method, this program has made a meaningful contribution to improving the quality of Qur’anic education at the grassroots community level.
