Membangun Sinergi Agama dan Sains dalam Pembelajaran di SMK Al-Islam Surakarta

Abstract
Vocational education in the digital era is required to produce graduates who are not only technically competent but also possess strong character and ethical awareness. However, learning practices in vocational schools still tend to dichotomize science and religion, resulting in the weak internalization of religious values. This community service activity aimed to develop educators’ understanding and critical awareness of the importance of integrating religion and science in vocational learning. A participatory–educative approach was employed through a workshop conducted at SMK Al Islam Surakarta involving teachers and educational staff. The results indicate an increased awareness among participants regarding the negative impacts of the science–religion dichotomy and the emergence of an understanding that vocational learning provides strategic opportunities for integrating Islamic values. This activity serves as an initial foundation for strengthening an integrative vocational learning paradigm that unites technical competence with moral responsibility.
